An opportunity arose to try a Mongoose Pro with an SPA platform XC90.
I has seen no reason why it should not work as its a decent j2534 passthrough , but I was still surprised that it worked as well as it did.
If you have ever used a DiCE on an SPA platform car you know how slow it is talking to all the modules for the first read out…..now I didn’t time it, but I’m sure this was actually faster than a DiCE.
It read and cleared the fault codes just fine and was able to do calibration routines as well as watch live data.
Yeah a Mongoose is about twice as fast as a DiCE is.
Mongoose works well in p2 and p3 plataform? Or is slow?
