You are correct.
Vxmanager is required for updating the liscence.
Hi video installation just as I remember and was very happy on the few occasions i used the nano unit after gone through the nightmare of finding Dice unit software was date stamped in effect so ended up with bricked Dice , unfortunaly having gone down the vx diag route it seemed all was well but at the end of last year after lock down extended mot and service and plugging in to check things out all seemed well on vida and car , but then on rechecking vida next day nano no device found in windows or manager . over the few months have tried to fathom out ,inthe contacted Allscanner and setup team viewer with engineer but all to no avail mainly as windows does not detect unit usb wireless nothing so again it looks bricked term used! So now in referance to your video you have a line that in theory vist to vx manager is not needed once set up ,from what i can gather you are required to log in and update licence ,although it isnt time limited you have to refresh every 3 months now or lose licence which it would appear is my situation so if this is correct it might be worth adding to video , sorry its a bit long winded for a comment but please this is no way ment in any way a critisism if fact you my also clear up how i again ended up unable to access vida again .
